A New Chapter for a New Year

I know it's a few days late but I would like to wish everyone a
HAPPY NEW YEAR
for 2012.

This is my first post on this blog and I am hoping to post at least once a week to keep up with what I have been doing. Between Christmas and New Year I spent 5 days in the south west, first at Busselton, then Dunsborough. It was a magical few days with lots of visits to the wineries, art galleries, chocolate factory and wonderful restaurants. We also managed to fit in a night at the open air movies at Cape Mentelle Winery and a Pete Murray Concert at Leeuwin Estate. Both very lovely evenings! On the way home we stopped into Harvey and visited the gorgeous Stirling Cottage gardens. This is where May Gibbs lived for a few years and although the cottage has been turned into a tea room the gardens are just wonderful.
